Re: Comm. No. 64/ Bill No. 18
Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No. 18, reports as follows:
Bill No. 18, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi via Communication 64 dated December 11,
2014, amends Section 25-8-3 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), by
changing the district classification from Agricultural (A -la) to Village Commercial (CV -10) at
H61ualoa, North Kona, covered by Tax Map Key: 7-6-013:017. The bill would allow the
applicant to develop automobile storage and employee parking.
This bill received a favorable recommendation from the Leeward Planning Commission on
November 20, 2014.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 18 and
recommends passage on first reading.
