COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. : +6 15 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THREE RING RANCH, <br />INC., FOR THE TRIMMING AND REMOVAL OF TREES AT THE EXOTIC ANIMAL <br />SANCTUARY. <br />WHEREAS, Three Ring Ranch, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is an exotic <br />animal sanctuary licensed by the United States Department of Agriculture and accredited by both <br />the American Sanctuary Association and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries; and <br />WHEREAS, Three Ring Ranch, Inc., needs funds to pay for the trimming and removal <br />of trees around the animal enclosures and educational center to ensure the safety of the staff, <br />volunteers, students, and visitors; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, <br />Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br />resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br />activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br />the Hawaii Police Department to provide a grant to Three Ring Ranch, Inc., for the trimming <br />and removal of trees at the exotic animal sanctuary; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />$2,500 <br />010.201.5203.02 Hawaii Police Department $2,500 <br />Police Adm Div -OCE <br />115 Misc.
