Re: Operating Budget
The Finance Department's Real Property Tax Division plans to add a third real property
tax foreclosure tax sale during the current fiscal year. This will require an increase in the
RPT Tax Sale Cost & Expense revenue and expenditure accounts. In the FY 2014-15
Operating Budget, $340,000 is appropriated for these accounts.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating an
additional $200,000 to the Finance Department's Real Property Tax Division's RPT Tax
Sale Cost & Expense accounts, bringing each of their totals to $540,000.
