It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Scott E. Church from the North Kona District to the
Hawaii County Leeward Planning Commission. Mr. Church is a 45 -year resident of
Hawaii. He is the Managing Partner/Owner of the Beach Villas at Kahalu'u.
Mr. Church recently served as Chair of the Hawaii County Tax Board of Review, and
he currently serves as Treasurer of the Elks Club 2616. He states that he is not
affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, Mr. Church will serve a term to expire
on December 31, 2019, replacing Mr. Thomas Hickox whose term expired on
December 31, 2014.
