COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 92 15 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF TWO LIVESCAN SYSTEMS FROM THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL WHEREAS, the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General Hawaii Criminal Justice Data Center is donating two Livescan systems, valued at $73,863.02 to the Hawaii County Police Department; and WHEREAS, these Livescan systems will be used in the Waimea and Pahoa districts; and WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawaii County Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or personal property which fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Police Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a) of the Hawaii County Code, the Council of the County of Hawaii accepts this donation.
