A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND THE KONA
SKATEPARK.
WHEREAS, the Kona Skatepark provides the community with a recreational
environment made for skateboarding; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is in need of funds for the
improvements and expansion of the Kona Skatepark, which is being coordinated with the help of
volunteer groups and in conjunction with the Kailua Park Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to improve and expand the Kona Skatepark; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
