Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Geraldine M. Giffin to the County of Hawaii Liquor
Control Adjudication Board. Ms. Giffin is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. She retired in
1995, after an extensive career as an educator with the Department of Education and
the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
Ms. Giffin is a former member of the Board of Appeals and the Leeward Planning
Commission. She states that she is a Democrat. If confirmed, she will serve a term to
end on December 31, 2019.
