Your Committee on Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability, to which was referred
Communication 141, reports as follows:
Communication 141, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated February 11, 2015, nominates
Naniloa K. Pogline of Council District 4 to the County of Hawai`i Game Management Advisory
Commission. Ms. Pogline is a lifelong resident of Hawai`i and is self-employed as a custom
ceramic tile designer artist. Ms. Pogline states that she is not affiliated with any political party.
If confirmed, Ms. Pogline will serve the remainder of a term to end on December 31, 2016,
replacing Paul Bueltmann who resigned.
Executive Assistant to the Mayor Charmaine Shigemura introduced Ms. Pogline, who was not
present due to not being notified of the meeting. Her attendance is requested for the full Council
confirmation.
Your Committee on Agriculture, Water and Energy sustainability is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Communication 141 and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Naniloa
K. Pogline to the County of Hawai`i Game Management Advisory Commission.
