My message to the Committee: Aloha Chair Wille and AWES Committee Members,
Mahalo for the opportunity!
I support Bill 24 regulating business that capture and sell Hawaii's
reef wildlie to the mainland pet trade. The well-being of wildlife
should not be sacrificed for company profit.
It is alarming to see less fish right here off Kukio in the two years
living and swimming from the public beaches. I see green lights in the
water close to shore many nights lately and what must be going ou is
fish poaching. Who are these people that don't care or want to
understand the selfish nature ofwhat they are doing to the fish
population.
