I was one of the many who testified before the county council
in favor of banning GMOs on the island. The number of people on
this island is joined by the many working on Oahu, Maui, and Kauai
to create county bans and restrictions on GMOs in Hawaii. I urge
you to appeal to the HI state supreme court, that we as counties
will have the right to govern in our own best interest what is grown.

- Appealing the lower court decision means that we do not accept
that GMO contamination of conventional and organic farms is o
legal, legitimate, or moral. It affirms our citizens' property rights and
health concerns are in our own hands.
