Christine Wada - Ms. Wada is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She is a retired teacher who
worked for the Department of Education for 38 years. Ms. Wada states that she is not affiliated
with any political party
Lily H.K.L. Dudoit - Ms. Dudoit is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. She is employed by the
Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa as the Director of Cultural and Leisure Activities. Ms. Dudoit
states that she is not affiliated with any political party.
Both nominees were confirmed to this commission in January 2013, for a two year term.
Hawai'i County Charter Section 13-4(c), states that "members of any board or commission
appointed for a term of two years or less shall be eligible to succeed themselves for an
additional full term." If they are confirmed today, both will serve a full term to end on
December 31, 2019.
