Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to be known as the Salary Ordinance of 2015. The
amendments are in section 7 and reflect the new minimum wage which went into law in
2014, along with scheduled annual increases until 2018. The scheduled increase to
minimum wage effective January 1, 2016 is also incorporated.

Enclosed is the Salary Ordinance of 2015 for submittal to the County Council.
In 2014, the new minimum wage law went into effect along with scheduled
annual increases until 2018. We've incorporated the scheduled increase to
minimum wage effective 01 /01 /16 into the proposed Salary Ordinance 2015.
Corporation Counsel has already reviewed the attached draft. If there are any
questions, please contact Jenny Sakamoto at 961-8361.
