Subject: Resolution 22-14 Testimony
Dear Members of the Hawaii County Council,
I am submitting testimony in support of the appeal of the Judge Kurren's ruling invalidating Hawaii Island's
Ordinance 13-121, which protected Hawaii Island from any new propagation of genetically engineered seed or open air
testing, keeping out GMO crops that are bread to require huge amounts of killing chemicals. All of these associated evils
that come with GMO crops would wreak havoc in our island environment, negatively impact and burden residents and
non-GMO farmers financially and in their health. I ask that you do everything possible to protect our County's residents
AND environment now and for the future by supporting the appeal of Judge Kurren's ruling so that we might be able to
have the appeal heard by a higher Court.
