Subject: Hire the defense Attorneys'
Aloha, My name is Kennth Likout, I live and work on the Island of Maui and I am
contacting you to encourage you to vote to hire Earth Justice and Center for Food
Safety in the defense of the GMO crop Ordinance 13- 121 ... It is very important that
this Appeal is successful, and the hiring of these defense teams' (which will not cost
the county anything) will offer the best and most fair opportunity for that
success... This is most important not only for the support of the Councils Decision on
Ordinance 13- 121,but for all future home rule type votes, not only in Hawai'i county,
but all Hawai'i counties, and not only in Hawai'is' counties, but nationally... the entire
country will be watching how this appeal turns out ... and the big corporations all
definitely watching and hoping for a weak defense, so Please do not give them what
they are hoping for and Vote to Hire Earth Justice and Center for Food Safety in the
defense of the GMO crop Ordinance 13- 121 ... This, of course, is going to have
strong influence on the most recently voted in to law GMO Moratorium here in Maui
county as well, I ask are we to be ruled by ourselves and our elected officials or are
we going to be ruled by big business and the courts. The Decision is now
yours... Please choose wisely ... PONO
