This agreement is for one black and white copy machine for the Department of Research and Development. Their current copier was purchased in 2006 and is now obsolete. The cost of leasing the new machine will be approximately $2,500 per year. REQUEST: Authorize a five (5) year lease agreement for one (1) black and white copier for the Department of Research and Development's Hilo office. B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): Current copier was purchased in July 2006. Unit is obsolete and increasingly in need of repair.
