Subject: Support for Paul Achitoff (of Earth Justice) for representing the county
I am writing to you to voice my support for hiring Paul Achitoff of Earth Justice, to represent the county, in the
upcoming appeal of decision to overturn county ordinance 13-121. Mr. Achitoff has graciously volunteered to
represent the county for free and ha excellent legal experience in this field. It would be foolish not to take him
up on his kind offer. It is very important that a precedent not be set of the Hawaii State over turning Hawaii
council ordinances, whether they are in agriculture or any other matters. Let's get the best legal
representation possible and over turn the judge Kurren's unwise ruling.
