ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS
Res. 105-15: NOMINATES ENTERPRISE ZONES FOR CONSIDERATION AND
DESIGNATION BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF HAWAI‘I
Requests that the Governor designate the following areas as enterprise zones
according to the attached exhibits:
(1)Hāmākua – (Exhibit E) on the date of the Governor’s designation;
(2)Hilo-Puna – (Exhibit F) on the date of the Governor’s designation;
(3)Kona – (Exhibit G) on the date of the Governor’s designation, provided that, at
midnight of the day before the Governor’s designation the South Kona
designated District shall be terminated; and
(4)Ka‘ū – (Exhibit H) on May 2, 2015.
Enterprise zones provide tax incentives to foster economic development and
generate employment.
