Attendance at National Association of Counties — Committee Meetings

I am requesting ten (10) minutes on the next available and appropriate Committee agenda to
report my attendance at the National Association of Counties (NACo) Health Steering
Committee and sub -committee informational meetings held in February of 2015.
Maile "Medeiros" David and Valerie Poindexter were also in attendance.
These informational meetings were not specifically or exclusively organized for or directed
toward members of the board, nor did members in attendance make or seek any commitment to
vote.
HRS Section 92-2.5(e) allows for two or more members, but less than quorum, to attend an
informational meeting or presentation on matters relating to official board business, provided the
board members report their attendance and the matters presented and discussed at the next duly
noticed meeting of the board.
