To who it may concern
My name is Chelsey FAAVESI and I live in the last fishing
village in the state of Hawaii known as Milolii I think we all
heard the say "why fix something that isn't broken" so why
support bill 318 when the impact of this bill well destroy
the safety of the fish. Putting a fish in a gallon on water
seems like a good idea put that fact is the people that
think it's a good idea lack the knowledge of how much
harm that we'll put on a fish. When u increase the amount
of water you decease the amount of oxygen it well be like
breathing thru a straw. I've been packing fish for 1 year
and the method we use is 1 third salt water to 2 thirds pure
oxygen the fish is then put in a bag where it's fully
submerged in salt water and has enough room to fully
rotate without touching the side of the bag. 24 hour prior to
being shipped we allow the fish to empty out there
stomach so when being shipped they don't contaminate
there temporary living environment so ask your self this
why change something that already works
