Bill 318 brings up a number of issues when shipping live tropical fish.
Most importantly is the fact that if you feed the fish before shipping them out they
will excrete waste it to the water and cause toxic levels of mainly ammonia.
Secondly is the issue of shipping one fish per gallon of water. How can this be
applied when fish come in a variety of sizes. A big fish may need gallon of water
where as a small fish may need just a fraction of that for safe transport.
It just seems to me that bill 318 is just setup for people that ship fish to fail. And if
this bill does pass their will be serious issues that will result.
