EMC-3 March 3, 2015 ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS Res. 84-15: URGES THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO MULTI-YEAR CONTRACTS TO ESTABLISH REGIONAL AND COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIC COMPOST OPERATIONS IN THE COUNTY OFHAWAI‘I Suggested contracts would be for ten years (which may include a two-year transition period during which the contractor(s) is not obligated to maximize the production of compost) with the option of two five-year extensions. Reference: Comm. 127 Intr. by: Ms. Wille Amended to Draft 2 and postponed to the March 31, 2015, EMC Meeting: Ayes: Committee Members David, Eoff, Ilagan, Kanuha, Paleka, Poindexter, and Wille – 7. Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Revised Statutes (hereinafter “HRS”) §92-3.5, the Hawai‘i County Council will be conducting this Committee meeting via videoconference. If audio Hawai‘i stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for more than a short period of time, the meeting will be terminated.
