RESOLUTION NO. 136 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE RECREATION EQUIPMENT FOR
VARIOUS FACILITIES IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested funds to purchase
recreation equipment for various facilities within Council District 2; and
WHEREAS, the equipment is necessary to improve, enhance, and/or replace existing
equipment at designated recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, the equipment will be available for use by youth and adults alike; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the purchase of recreation
equipment; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
