RESOLUTION NO. 138 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT AT KONA
IMIN CENTER.
WHEREAS, the Kona Imin Center located in Holualoa is a recreational facility used by
citizens of the County of Hawaii for elderly activities, family celebrations, community
meetings, and other large events; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, needs
replacement tables, chairs, and storage equipment to provide the community with recreational
activities at the Kona Imin Center; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of tables, chairs, and storage equipment
to be utilized at the Kona Imin Center; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
