A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ROADWAY SAFETY
MIRRORS TO BE USED IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
WHEREAS, roadway safety mirrors need to be purchased for use in strategic locations
on the roadways in Council District 2 in order to improve the safety and welfare of the general
public; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works does not have enough funds to purchase
these safety mirrors; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for the purchase of roadway safety mirrors to be used in
Council District 2; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

AMOUNT OF
APPROPRIATION: $4,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $4,000
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works $4,000
Transfer to Highway Fund
341 Misc. Charges
(Traffic Signs & Markings, Highway Materials —
Roadway Safety Mirrors for Council District 2)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Public Works and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
