Bill 25: Amends Section 25-8-11 (lalamilo-Pu`ukapu Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning
Code) of the Hawai' i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition), by Changing the District Classification
from Agricultural - One Acre (A -I a) to Single Family Residential - 20,000 Square Feet (RS -20)
at Waimea Homesteads, South Kohala, Hawaii, Covered by TMK: 6-5-011:030.
Applicants: Robert Hind III and Margaret Hind. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Eoff,
Ilagan, Onishi. Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha— 9; NOES: None; ABSENT:
None: EXCUSED: None.
Bill 27: Amends Ordinance No. 14-81, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawaii for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2015. Increases revenues in the Real Property Tax
Sale Cost & Expense account ($200,000); and appropriates the same to the Real Property Tax
Sale Cost & Expense account. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Leff, (lagan, Onishi,
Palcka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha 9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED:
None.
Bill 30: Amends Ordinance No. 14-82, as Amended, Relating to Public Improvements and
Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015. Adds the Parks and
Recreation Pana'ewa Zoo and Gardens project for $136,294.07 to the Capital Budget. Funds for
the project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund
Balance and/or Other Sources. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Eoff, (lagan, Onishi,
Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha —9; NOES: None; ABSENT: None; EXCUSED:
None.
Bill 31: Amends Ordinance No. 14-82, as Amended, Relating to Public Improvements and
Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July I, 2014, to June 30, 2015. Adds the Parks and
Recreation Hilo Bayfront Trails - Federal project for $345,743 to the Capital Budget. Funds for
the project shall be provided from Federal Grants Receivable. AYES: Council Members Chung,
David, Fell, Ilagau, Onishi, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha— 9; NOES: None;
ABSENT: None; EXCUSED: None.
