A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO COVER UNANTICIPATED EXPENSES IN THE
SALARY & WAGES ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, this transfer is needed to cover a funding shortage caused by expenditures
for cash in lieu of vacation awarded to several employees who are no longer employed by the
Office of the County Clerk and Hawaii County Council; and
WHEREAS, this fund transfer is also necessary due to the fact that funds for our vendor
that provides videotaping and footage for livestreaming and the site coordinators for our video
conferencing sites were budgeted for the Clerk -Council Services OCE, Miscellaneous Contract
Services account, however they are contract workers and as such are being paid through our
salary & wages accounts; and
WHEREAS, the funds will come from account number 101.101.5101.02.115 (Clerk -
Council Misc. Contract Services), which is available due to lower than anticipated expenses;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the County Clerk and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
