RESOLUTION NO. 165 15
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE AN OUTDOOR MULTI-PURPOSE
SCOREBOARD FOR NA`ALEHU PARK.
WHEREAS, Na`alehu Park is in need of an outdoor multi-purpose scoreboard for sports -
related activities; and
WHEREAS, a multi-purpose scoreboard will greatly benefit the Ka`u community during
baseball, football, and other sports -related activities; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase an outdoor multi-purpose scoreboard for
Na`alehu Park; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
