Testimony in opposition to county bill -024
This is just another attempt to create hardship for fish collectors, the state
already has requirements for most of what this bill is asking for and it would just
be redundant.
All citizens of Hawaii have the rights to harvest fish from state waters.
The state has made recommendations and passed laws based on studies by state
employees (DAR) that scientifically shows this fishery is manageable and doing
well with fish population steadily growing.
