My message to the Committee: 'Aloha Chair Wille and Committee Members
Mahalo I-ortheopportunity!
I support Bill 318 protecting Hawaii's reefwildlife from harnnful
aquarium trade starvation and insufficient water volume during
shipping.
I believe that aquariums should be stocked with captive -bred livestock
only but this Bill 318 is a step in the right direction. All wildlife
should be treated in a humane fashion and the aquarium trade has
current practices that are disrespectful to both the wildlife and
aquarium enthusiasts. I hope you pass this bill and in the future I
believe that we can have more captive bred livestock for this hobby.
