Bill 318 OPPOSITION
A bill virtually identical to this bill has just died in the state legislature. The practices in handling live fish that
are demanded in this stupid bill would do far more harm than good and have been dreamed up by people who
know nothing about the biology or habits of cold-blooded animals such as fish. Leave this issue to the
professionals, and unless you have hands-on knowledge and experience in this practice, please do not be
telling the experts what to do. The state realized pretty quickly that this is a dumb proposition. I hope the
county is smart enough to realize the same.
Now if this is just an attempt to drive our county people out of a legal business, then the courts will decide.
