A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR REPAIRS TO THE HONAUNAU RODEO
ARENA.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has identified the need to make
certain repairs to the Honaunau Rodeo Arena; and
WHEREAS, funds will be used to purchase materials and supplies to replace fence
panels that surround the arena, which have deteriorated over the years; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to purchase the necessary fence panels, which will
benefit participants and the general public who utilize this facility; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
