I believe this shows the support of the program by our wmmunity and sister agencies. ability to staff Rose House an a 24-hour basis. We began our recovery home in June of 1998 with all of my time being donated until recently when Rose House increased it's funding and I was compensated as a pant-time employee. Although I am oat residing at Rose House a majority of my time, at least 75°~ is spent a! Rose Mouse. Moreover I am available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week via a pager. Rose House has been successful at securing volunteers throughout the community with many assisting in overnight stays. At the County Counai meeting on April 20'^ many persons and sister agencies offered testimony in support of funding Rosa House. Furthermore, other similar agencies such as BISAC offered to share a portion of their allocation ao that Rose House could continue to provide its services to women in need in the County of Hawaii. At this same meeting it was pointed nut that Catholic Charities was allocated more funding than requested by $2005.00. These funds could be transferred to Rose House and in fad a Counal Member made a motion to allocate this funding to Rase House.
