RE: Non-Profit Funding Proposal
Attached you will find a new proposed non-profit expenditure plan. I believe this proposal strikes a
common ground for all parties involved by doing the following:
? Corrects Catholic Charities of the Diocese funding level to requested $8,500.
? Incorporates Ms. Jacobson's proposal to fund Rose House through a joint effort between BISAC and
Bridge House.
? Uses original concept proposed by Mr. Yagong that apportioned a percentage of all agencies to fund
the Hawaii Island Veteran's Memorial, Inc. and reinstate some funding to HCEOC.
? This proposal is based on a 3% decrease of some agencies (excluding HCEOC and Rose House)
based on the original HSNPGRC recommendations.
? Acknowledges the efforts of HSNPGRC in their scrutiny of individual organizations by recognizing
their recommendations for increasing/decreasing in funding.
? Maintained funding of 4 new programs as proposed by HSNPGRC.
