SUBJECT: Resolution for the Hawaii County Council
Hawi Mutual Self-Help Housing Project
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD)
submitted to the Hawaii County Housing Agency (HCHA) a
resolution authorizing the exemptions of certain State Land Use,
County Zoning, Subdivision and Roadways Codes and Requirements
pursuant to Sections 201G-113 and 201G-118 of the Hawaii Revised
Statues for the proposed Hawi Mutual Self-Help For-Sale Housing
Project.
The HCHA reviewed and approved the resolution at its meeting of
February 16, 1999. Accordingly, I am requesting that the
resolution be included on the Council agenda for action at its
March 9, 1999, meeting.
