Dear Members,
I understand that due to various factors, unforeseen and beyond the control of the
Contractors, there is a considerable cost overrun on the roadway construction
through downtown Waimea.
It is indeed a most unfortunate situation, bu; r~~ avoid additional cost overun and
delay of the completion of this work, I woulc. asl: that you take the steps necessary
to approve these costs as quickly as possible. Delay puts further economic burden
on already stressed local businesses, adds to the inconvenience and compounds
the expense of the inevitable.
