I want co express my strong support for Council action to fund the change order
now under consideration, rely?ing tv the n~cuar~iry~ relucaliun of the water main beneath _
the current construction project in ~Naimea. I urnierstand that the Fc;dural funding
required [o effect this change has already bee~~ •~ppraved. I believe That any delay by
Council In approval of county funding to effect this necessary change will serve to delay
completion of this disruptive protect and cause additional stress to local residents and
cross-island travelers, in addition to loss of buslr~~ss experienced by many of Waimea's
business interests. 1 URGE the Council tv act ~;ui:.kly ar~d)(avorably.
