This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter submitting your annual progress report in
compliance with Condition K of Ordinance no. 98-87.
In review of your Ordinance, no administrative time extension to conditions is required at this
time. However, the applicant is required to comply with Condition C and secure Final
Subdivision within three yeazs from the effective date of the Ordinance or by August 27, 2001.
Should, in the future, the applicant not be able to comply with this condition, a request and
reasons for an administrative time extension shall be forwarded to the Planning Director prior to
that date.
Thank you for submitting your annual progress report. Your next annual progress report is due
on or before February 13, 2001.

We are writing to update you on our progress toward fulfilling the requirements of our
rezoning ordinance, and also to request any necessary time extension.
Work, completed to date, includes the following:
Grading:
Benches, or terraces, instead of extensive retaining walls, along subdivision roadway.
Bypass roads around culvert areas.
House sites, accessory building sites, and driveways.
Fire road system, including perimeter.
Agricultural catchment ponds /landscaping areas.
t.arge water tanker on site daily, to aid in dust control and cornpaction
I Jtility trench routes have been ripped by a large dozer, prepared for trenching.

Compliance with each condition of the ordinance is as follows:

Final Subdivision Approval
Dec. 30, 1998 Extension of time until Feb.10, 2000, for the completion of
subdivision improvements.
(C) (2) The property is dedicated for agricultural uses with the Department
of Finance, Real Property Tax Division, and is presently being grazed.
(D) An archaeological reconnaissance survey report was submitted, accepted by
the Department of Land and Natural Resources-Historic Sites Section, and
approved by the Planning Department.
tE) If archaeological sites or features are uncovered, work will cease and the
Planning Director will be notified.
(F) A drainage system is being installed to County standards.
(G) There will be only one access to the subdivision from Ala Kahua Dr.
(H) All other requirements will be complied with.
(I) Unified Impact Fees will apply to the project, if adopted by the council.
(J) Annual progress reports are submitted to the Planning Director.
(K) We haue applied for all necessary time extensions.
