A PETITION TO MAINTAIN THE D,A R E PROGRAM
As a concerned teacher, as well as a citizen, I feel that the D.A,R.E. program
should be a coninuing educational program in all schools, funded by the government,
and taught by a Police Officer. The impact and influence an Officer has augments and
enhances the lessons taught in my classroom.
I strongly urge you to refinance the program, and any affiliated programs, that
teach our youngsters awareness of the reality of how harmful illegal substances are to
our personal well-being as well as society's.
