Dear Mr. Arakaki and All Council Members:
We would like to let you know the importance of West Hawaii County Band to our
community.
The West Hawaii County Band has participated every year in our Holualoa Village
Aloha Festivals Parade and has helped make our parade a great success. It seems
unlikely that aHilo-based County Band would participate in our village celebration.
West Hawaii continues to grow and needs to support and keep its own band. Please
do not dissolve the West Hawaii County Band.
