PUBLIC NOTICE
APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR A
BED AND BREAKFAST AT POWER POLE #11,
PIKAKE STREET. FERN ACRES SUBDIVISION
Annie C Park is applying for a permit from the
County of Hawaii to run a four bedroom Bed and Break-
fast. The County has required her to notify all property
owners in the subdivision of this application and turn in
all replies.
This is very important to all property owners; this will
be the first commercial permit to be issued in this subdi-
vision, and will set precedence for future applications.
Seventeen people have voiced their objections to
any commercial activity within the subdivision; the
County has required this notice because of these obje-
ctions.
The County is requiring special use permits for
every activity, except farming, This means no one can
legally do business from their home without this permit.
It is getting harder and harder to find good jobs and
people are doing what they can just to survive. Your
home and property are a survival tool in hard times,
don't throw it away by not voting. By not getting involved
you give your power to people that will stop the growth,
value and development of the subdivision. Do not let it
happen, get involved, before it is too late. Once the
County rules, it is over!
Please drop a line to the County of Hawaii voicing
your opinion on this matter, just a few words will do--for
or against Annie's B&B.
