if you ask me what D.H.R.E. is all about,
jould tell you that it is a wonderful learning
penence for kids in the 5th grade. This year, we
i' a really great O.R.R.E. Officer. He taught us about
igs in funways. Now 1 know why it is so important
stay drug-free.
if someone offerred me drugs, I would use
e or two of nine ways officer Shaw taught us to
Jallollv Officer Shaun was really great to be with
d he made us all feel comfortable.
Some of the things I enjoyed doing this year
We the short skits, Hollywood Squares and Jeopardy.
`ked the skits because it made us feel the part we
iyed and showed us how it might feel in that situation.
fateuer the situation might be, we would know how
deal with it.
If you go through this program, you start to
alize what it means to be "drug-free". It means
stay off drugs or don't start, which is majorly
tart, and to just be yourself. You don't haue to
coke or drink to be cool. Just stay away from drugs
i belieue in yourself. That's all it takes I
1'ue learned so much from Officer Shaw.
is learned words like assertiue and abuse, about
fInsequences, but most importantly about the dangers
I drugs.
