We have enjoybd the performances immensely, and look forward to future events! Those of us attending these events have seen some people over- whelmed by the music, with tears in their eyes, and at times, children and adults dancing to the -rhythm; all of us totally absorbed in this pleasant, comforting atmosphere. Due to the public's appreciation of the caliber of music, numbers in the audience have increased. We feel that our County Band's performance exceed that of the Royal Hawaiian Band in Honolulu. We proudly proclaim, "The.Hawaii County Band is the best in the State!" The Hawaii County Band not only provides beautiful music but also, opportunities for talented high school students and a suppl%ental income for adults. We acknowledge that all of this comes at a cost and would like to recommend that a committee be formed, perhaps, of County Band enthusiasts like ourselves, to maintain a ca_,bash at public performances. We encourage you to give us senior citizens, and the public to continue to enjoy the Hawaii County Band performances for our good mental health and well-being. Let's keep the band. It's an asset to our County! Thank you.
