Proposed Amendments to Communication No. 112.2; Recommendations for
Grant Appropriations to Nonprofit Organizations for Fiscal Year 2015-2016
Please find attached proposed amendments to Communication No. 112.2. The proposed
amendments are illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of
Communication No. 112.2 (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added
is underscored).
The proposed amendments reduce the recommended funding from three nonprofits (Brantley
Center, Special Olympics Hawaii -West Hawaii, and The Arc of Hilo) for a total reduction of
$14,500 and divides it equally to increase the recommended funding for two nonprofits (Hospice
of Hilo and Lokahi Treatment Center).
The recommended amounts for the nonprofits below are amended to read as follows:
