Attached for your favorable consideration is proposed Bill No. 50, Draft 5, which includes the
following amendments which were discussed previously:
1. Condition G. Inserts the following sentence before the final sentence:
"At the same time, the applicant shall dedicate to the County asixty-foot wide
right-of--way between Alii Drive and Alii Highway reserving to itself a sewer
easement to permit the development of a sewer interceptor line by the applicant
for its project."
2. Condition J. In the first sentence, delete the word "intensive"; insert the word
"inventory" and "as well as resulting reports."
3. Condition J. In the middle of the paragraph, delete "approved buffers" and insert
"a ten meter minimum buffer on both sides of the wall measured from its base,"
4. Condition J. Insert as the last sentence "Said breach shall be done in accordance
with a plan, approved by the Planning Director in consultation with DLNR-HPD
and monitored by a qualified azchaeologist, using mechanical and non-mechanical
means to ensure the integrity of the Kuakini Wall, and stabilizing the wall's two
open ends to prevent the structure from collapsing." ~7
