On Friday, June 18th, I visited the Kona office of the Planning
? epartinent. I asked the person behind the desk if I purchased an acre lot in
::e proposed Kahakai Development, could 1 subdivide the land into five,
7,500 square foot lots. I was told that the only restriction would be the
«�` &CR's for the development. This would put the burden of stopping anyone
rom subdividing their land to the 7,500 square foot lots, that is the zoning for
to area, on the subdivision board, not the county where the zoning should be
yetermined. I repeat that I am in favor of the project but implore the council
`0 .._lo it right and not allow loopholes that will have to be addressed in the
- ::*. c. Please make Bill #50 something that you can be proud of.
