A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE TROPHIES FOR THE KUPUNA
STATE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation — Elderly Activities Division has
requested funds to purchase trophies for the Kupuna State Softball Tournament; and
WHEREAS, the trophies will be used for awards for the tournament; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation — Elderly Activities Division to be used towards the
purchase of trophies for the Kupuna State Softball Tournament; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
