Proposed Amendments to Bill No. 35, Regarding the Salary Ordinance of 2015
Please find below proposed amendments to Bill No. 35. The proposed amendments are
illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 35 (material to be deleted
is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored).
Bill No. 35 is amended by amending the last paragraph of Section 3(B), to read as follows:
"The Council Chairperson may appoint employees to any of the steps
within the appropriate pay grade. [and] The Council Chai erp rson may also
authorize and approve any step movements along the appropriate pay grade[;

Any Council Member may, without the concurrence of the Council

provided funds are available for any step increases."
Due to the limited scope of this amendment and in an effort to conserve resources, a draft copy
of Bill No. 35, Draft 2, with the proposed amendments incorporated is not attached.
