RESOLUTION NO. 19i) 1, -
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TABLE TENNIS
SUPPLIES FOR THE KEKUAOKALANI GYMNASIUM.
WHEREAS, the Kona Table Tennis Club is hosting the first annual USA Table Tennis
(USATT) sanctioned international table tennis tournament on August 16, 2015, at the
Kekuaokalani Gymnasium in Kailua-Kona; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, would like to
support the tournament by purchasing table tennis supplies such as scoreboards, nets, table
dividing barriers, etc.; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of recreational supplies for the first
annual USATT-sanctioned international table tennis tournament in Kona; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance, and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
