SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Bill No. 35, Regarding the Salary Ordinance of 2015
Please find below proposed amendments to Bill No. 35. The proposed amendments are
illustrated in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 35 (material to be deleted
is bracketed and stricken).
Bill No. 35 is amended by amending the last paragraph of Section 3(B), to read as follows:
"The Council Chairperson may appoint employees to any of the steps
within the appropriate pay grade and may authorize and approve any step
movements along the appropriate pay grade[; pr -o ,;aoa, t,,,..,eyer-, the Ge

step movement in the CA -1 and CLA-1 positions authorized by the Council
Member, the Council Chairperson shall review and may approve the appointment
or step movement."
Due to the limited scope of this amendment and in an effort to conserve resources, a draft copy
of Bill No. 35, Draft 2, with the proposed amendments incorporated is not attached.
