Madam Chair and Members of the Committee on Human Resources and Social Services:
Aloha, my name is Lee McIntosh. I am a board member of OKK and also the Chairman of The Parade Committee. I
encourage the Council to approve the grants recommended in Communication 112.2 for each of OKK's requests,
especially for the Family Fun Fest. Families in Kau enjoy having our own event to celebrate Independence Day without
the long drive to Volcano or Kona which is expensive and exhausting. Please approve the recommended grants for OKK
with the knowledge that you are brightening the day for families in Kau on July 4th. Thank you for the opportunity to
testify regarding Communication 112.2.
